There's a very cool local film festival that we at entertainment.ie are flogging tickets for, and it's near the side of the city I'm from - so naturally I'm interested.
The Fingal Film Festival features a screening of the Sean Penn starring, partly Irish shot flick This Must Be The Place, which is launching the actual festival at the UCI Cinema Blanchardstown on Wednesday March 21st. It also features a masterclass with Academy Award Winner Film Producer Arthur Lappin (My Left Foot, In America, Bloody Sunday) on March 22nd at the same UCI. IFTA Award Winner Martin McCann (Killing Bono, Clash of the Titans and HBO's The Pacific) is also giving a masterclass for budding actors at The Draiocht Theatre on March 21st. Other screenings include a series of lauded short documentaries and films from around the world.
