It's been a very busy week for Colin Farrell's agent, as the actor has signed on for another project, this time David Cronenberg's adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel, Cosmopolis.
The film is set across a full day in a limo that is making its way slowly through a crowded city. Farrell will play a billionaire who cheats on his missus (to be played by Marion Cotillard), finds himself stalked, and then loses billions. The film is scheduled to shoot this time next year, so it will be a while before we see it.
Exactly the kind of edgy, challenging role you'd expect from the new Farrell. He's also balancing it with some high profile supporting turns, and has officially signed on for Horrible Bosses, opposite Jennifer Aniston, Patrick Bateman and Charlie Day (who writes and stars in the very funny It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia).
