Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has made a stunning five day debut in most territories around the globe, taking a staggering $387 million. The film grossed $202 million of that in America, where it beat, previous record holder, Spiderman 2's haul by about $50 million for the same period. Most other films steered clear of the Michael Bay action flick, but Cameron Diaz tear-jerker My Sisters Keeper opened as a counter programming film, taking an average $12 million. The Hangover continued to do huge business, taking a further $17.2 million, to take its total to $183.2 million; while Ryan Reynolds/Sandra Bullock romantic comedy The Proposal coined a further $18.5 million for a healthy total of $69 million and counting.
