Like its TV shows, Netflix is managing to recruit quite a few A-listers for their original movie content, with releases on the way from the likes of Martin Scorsese and Brad Pitt.

Will Smith has also got in on the action and has a new sci-fi movie called Bright due out later this year. It will see the actor team back up with Suicide Squad director David Ayer (don't let that put you off).

The synopsis says: "Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time, this action-thriller follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward, a human (Will Smith), and Jakoby, an orc (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it.

"Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which in the wrong hands could destroy everything."

Bright also stars The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’s Noomi Rapace and Ruth Negga’s Loving co-star Joel Edgerton.

A teaser for the movie was released last week, but we can exclusively reveal brand new images from the movie below:

Bright will be released on Netflix this December 2017.
