While some actors take a very firm stance against appearing in their birthday suit for the sake of a film, there are others who fail to see what all the fuss is about (we agree with the latter), and consider it all part and parcel with their chosen form of artistic expression. Orlando Bloom is one such thespian (Michael Fassbender is another) and is said to appear completely starkers in his upcoming movie 'Zulu'.

The 36-year-old actor has revealed he stripped off completely naked for the French-produced crime film and, in between takes, had nothing more than a sock with which to cover his giblets.

During an appearance on TV show 'Watch What Happens Live' he was asked by a female fan if he would ever consider baring all on the big screen, to which he responded: 'You're in luck 'cause earlier this year I spent about seven days on set wearing just a c**k sock because I'm nude! It's a film called 'Zulu'. It stars myself and Forest Whitaker. It's directed by this fantastic French director called Jerome Salle. We premiered it at Cannes. You do get to see the full Orlando Bloom.'

Also in the interview with Andy Cohen, Bloomy was also asked whether he'd yet had a chance to watch Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring, in which his property is broken into by a group of wannabe celebrity, teenage delinquents.

While that was just a movie, it does mirror Bloom's own experience back in 2009, when his house was fleeced of almost 500,000 Dollars worth of personal stuff.

'I do think it's rather tragic that in America, something like robbing somebody's house can be celebrated. It's really rather ridiculous. But at the same time, I'm sure it's probably a really interesting and fascinating story. I have yet to see the film. I'm a little on the fence. I've had my innocence robbed, too. It's a really awful thing to have happen to you... I probably will see it. I think Sofia Coppola's an amazing director. She's got a nose for a story.'
