Lin-Manuel Miranda's animation movie will be hitting our screens just in time to warm us up for Christmas 2021.

In the 'Encanto' trailer, which you can see below, we meet Mirabel, a seemingly regular young person just like you and me. However, she just so happens to live in a magical part of Columbia where everyone has their own unique special power - except for her. When she discovers that her family’s magic might be under threat, she's the only one who might be able to save them.

Stephanie Beatriz from 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' and 'In The Heights' voices the main character of Mirabel, and she is the only cast member of the movie to be revealed thus far.

Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the music for Disney Animation's 60th movie, and the film is co-directed by Byron Howard ('Tangled'), Jared Bush ('Zootopia'), and Charise Castro Smith ('The Haunting of Hill House').

Miranda has become a much sought after musical writer in Hollywood of late, with his most recent production 'In The Heights' currently playing in movie theatres. He also wrote and starred in 'Hamilton', and directed the upcoming Netflix production of 'Tick, Tick... Boom!' with Andrew Garfield. He's also on board for the live-action version of 'The Little Mermaid'.

'Raya and the Last Dragon' was Disney Animation Studios' most recent release, out earlier this year. Previous to this, it was the highly-anticipated 'Frozen II' in 2019.

Here's the 'Encanto' trailer.

'Encanto' will be released in cinemas this November.
