Emily Blunt seems to have no shortage of work at the moment.

The Huntsman: Winter's War, due for release this summer, sees Blunt as an ice queen facing off against Charlize Theron with Jessica Chastain and Chris Hemsworth in a ropey Scottish accent in there for some inexplicable reason. There's also a sequel to one of the best films of 2015, Sicario, also planned and we've got all appendages crossed for a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow at some point as well.

However, it's not all fantasy villains and pitch-black crime thrillers for Blunt. Quite the opposite, in fact, as she's signed up to voice one of the ponies in a new My Little Pony film. Blunt will join Kristin Chenoweth and Tara Strong to take on a dark force that threatens Equestria - that's where the Little Ponies live - and will see them changed forever and questioning morality in the face of unspeakable horror.

No, we made up that last bit. For real, though, when this eventually comes out in 2017, we fully expect to see the trailer mashed up with the trailer for Sicario. That has to happen.

Don't let us down, Internet.
