'Game of Thrones' may have finished up filming for good but Emilia Clarke has a new role to sink her teeth into alongside 'Crazy Rich Asians' Henry Golding.
The pair will star in an Emma Thompson-penned Christmas rom-com called 'Last Christmas' based on the famous festive Wham! song.
Paul Feig is set to direct the project which will reunite him with Golding after their recent collaboration on 'A Simple Favour'. Bryony Kimmings will co-write alongside Thompson.
Speaking to the RadioTimes, Kimmings said back in July that George Michael had given his permission for the screenplay before his death in 2016.
No release date has been confirmed yet but it seems filming could begin in London at the end of this year.
Finally I can start getting excited and share the news... @paulfeig and I will be back to business in London at the end of the year âÂÂ?¤ï¸ÂÂ? https://t.co/pLI5S5S0zq
