One of my favourite guys to interview, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is currently riding high on the success of Fast and Furious Five - a franchise he's been credited with helping reinvigorate.
Now, according to Heat Vision Blog, the sometime WWE Superstar is joining another sequel - G.I. Joe 2. Step Up 3D helmer Jon Chu has been hired to replace Stephen Sommers in the director's chair, and it looks like Channing Tatum will be one of the few stars returning from the original. All we know about Johnson's character is that he'll be a big guy, with a big gun called "Roadblock".
Shooting is to get underway pronto for a release smack bang in the middle of summer 2012.
