For the record, let us be clear in that us writing about this is clearly giving Donald Trump what he wants.

After all, he is the very definition of an attention-seeking narcissist and any attention - bad or good - is good to him because it's what he wants - attention. During the rambling and incoherent part of a speech in Colorado last night, stupid fuck and US President Donald Trump attempted to weigh in on 'Parasite' winning Best Picture.

"How bad were the Academy Awards this year?", the absolute bell-end began to a wave of boos from the assembled cattle. "The winner is a movie from South Korea, what the hell was that all about? We got enough problems with South Korea with trade and on top of it, they give them the best movie of the year."

Yes, that's exactly what happened. The voting pools of the Academy of Motion Picture, Arts and Sciences considered the trade war which Donald Trump started and then voted for 'Parasite' on that basis.

"Was it good? I don’t know. I’m looking for, like – can we get like 'Gone With The Wind' back, please?"

Now, this part really does say a lot. For one, 'Gone With The Wind' is super fucking racist. In fact, the novel upon which it's based declared that the Ku Klux Klan - one of Trump's "very fine people" - was a "tragic necessity", and regularly used racial slurs to describe black slaves.

Even after the movie removed these and other very racist moments from the shooting script, you still had some of the worst depictions of relationships between black slaves and white masters committed to screen. Although Hattie McDaniel was the first African-American Oscar winner, the movie had a polarising effect on black audiences in America. To this day, many see 'Gone With The Wind' as an insult to black audiences in America.

So, yes, of course, that was the movie that Donald Trump wanted to bring back.
