Dolph Lundgren is set to be cast in Sylvester Stallone's new action movie The Expendables, alongside other genre stalwarts Jason Statham, Jet Li and Stallone himself. It's quite the mishmash of 80's and 00's (I don't even know if that makes sense) action heroes and really does sound like it could be a blast. The guys will play a team of mercenaries who travel to Asia to take down a pitiless dictator - as invariably, most of them are. Sly (as I like to call him) has written the script and will also direct. The film is mere weeks away from production, so let's hope Stallone keeps his tongue firmly against his cheek and foregoes some of the last Rambo's heavier moments of unintentional hilarity: "F**k the world" indeed.
