Matthew Vaughn is three-for-three in terms of quality flicks, with the now released Kick Ass the best of a hugely impressive bunch; next the helmer may produce or direct a film adaptation of the sci-fi/crime noir graphic novel mini-series Turf, which was created by none other than Jonathan Ross, according to an interview Ross did with The Guardian.

Set in New York in the late 20's, the story follows the arrival of the mysterious Eastern European clan of vampires, who unleash a series of brutal attacks on local gangs. One tough gang member and an alien (!), team up to stop the fanged bastards from killing their mates.

Vaughn's last two movies (Kick Ass and Stardust) have both been co-written with Jane Goldman, Ross's wife, so this isn't as far-fetched as it sounds.
