Anne Hathaway has signed on, and Bradley Cooper is in negotiations for The Silver Linings Playbook, according to Showbiz 411.
Cooper would play a man who is released from a mental hospital after a collapse to find his wife has remarried and moved on. Hathaway's character, herself a sufferer of depression, agrees to help him liaison with his ex. David O Russell was attached to direct, but is currently prepping game adaptation Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, with what looks to be Mark Wahlberg starring. So it's unclear if he's still attached.
Hathaway just released Love and Other Drugs, while Cooper has Limitless next, and is currently shooting The Hangover 2.
