Now here's a casting we can get behind.

It's unconfirmed as yet, however it looks like Christoph Waltz may be playing the next Bond villain in the superspy's 24th outing.

Waltz, who won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his turn as Dr. King Schultz in Django Unchained, is likely to play the lead villain alongside Guardians of the Galaxy's Dave Bautista - who is also rumoured to be playing a henchman-type villain in the new film.

There's no word on who Waltz will play, but given how it's Sam Mendes returning to direct and he's all about the Bond nostalgia, we're taking an educated guess and saying it's Blofeld.

Don't know who Blofeld is? Remember the 60's Bond movies and the guy with the white cat and the weird eye? Donald Pleasance, the guy from Hallowe'en played him. That's Blofeld.

Meanwhile, French actress Lea Seydoux has signed on to play one of the Bond girls whilst Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw are expected to return as M and Q, respectively.

Bond 24 begins shooting next month and is due to arrive in cinemas on November 6th, 2015.
