Having just watched the first trailer for Ashton Kutcher starrer, Jobs, I have to admit my arm hairs stood on end. Perhaps it's the fact that it's set against the sounds of Macklemore (not that this song fits contextually with the movie's timeline) or perhaps it's that the story of Steve Jobs is such an inspiring one, in the same way that The Social Network resonated with our generation. Having revolutionised how we live, it was only a matter of time before his story made it to the big screen, but one question remains: does Ashton Kutcher make for a convincing Jobs? Does he possess the chops to portray Jobs' shrewdness and matter-of-factness that we've often read about? Will he be convincing enough as Jobs in his grey-haired years?

Tracing the development of Apple, this trailer shows us the seeds of the company, as he teamed up with Steve Wozniak (Woz), his eventual departure from the company he started, and, of course, his inevitable return some years later.

We're still waiting on a release date for Jobs on this side of the Atlantic, but when we find out, so will you.
