Although 'John Wick: Chapter 4' won't arrive in cinemas until 2021, director Chad Stahelski won't be lying idle until then.

THR has confirmed that Stahelski is set to act as second-unit director on 'Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)', bringing his trademark action signature to the movie. The movie itself is being directed by Cathy Yan, in her first major studio movie following her feature-length debut, 'Dead Pigs'.

Stahelski's career, prior to 'John Wick', was as a stunt coordinator and as a second-unit director. In fact, the Russo brothers specifically hired him for that role for 'Captain America: Civil War' after seeing 'John Wick'. Not only that, Stahleski's stunt company, 87 Eleven, has been coordinating stunts for 'Birds of Prey' since production began.

'Birds of Prey' will see Margot Robbie return as Harley Quinn, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Huntress and Black Canary, respectively. The trio are forced to team up together to take on the crime lord Roman Sionis, also known as Black Mask.

'Birds of Prey' is set for release in Irish cinemas on February 7th, 2020.
