The director of the Cannes Film Festival, Thierry Fremaux, was in Dublin for the opening of the JDIFF last night, to accept the prestigious VOLTA award from the festivals Chairman, Michael Dwyer, while he also revealed exclusively to Sheena that he will be hosting a "masterclass" in film, and speaking about the trials and tribulations of hosting the biggest, and most prestigious film festival in the world. He's an interesting chap, and the talk would be well worth checking out. The talk takes place at 4.00pm today, in the gorgeous Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield.
