We love Caitlin Moran. We read How To Be A Woman cover-to-cover and loved every second of it.

Also, she tweeted us once about it and it was awesome. There was a connection.

Ahem. Anyway.

So, Caitlin Moran's first fictional-but-not-really novel How To Build A Girl has been picked up for a film adaptation by Monumental Pictures and Film4.

The novel follows a young girl who moves to London in an attempt to make it as a music critic to help support her family in Wolverhampton and is loosely based on Moran's career in Melody Maker.

No screenwriter or director is attached as yet, however the film is expected in cinemas in the near future.
