Life really is a rollercoaster sometimes.

Last night Bryce Dallas Howard was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote the latest Jurassic World instalment, Fallen Kingdom, and told a story of how she went above and beyond the call of duty to get a good shot for director JA Bayona. He wanted her natural reaction to being in a gyrosphere that fell off a cliff.

"JA Bayona decided to have a rollercoaster built. So, we could experience zero g – zero gravity – so we could actually fall faster," she explained.

But all did not go according to plan. Bayona wanted to do the take over and over again and it all became a bit too much for Howard who happens to be terrified of rollercoasters.

"I was so scared. Justice Smith actually just reminded me of this a couple of days ago. Normally with stunts, with each take you get more and more confident. With each take my panic increased substantially. And by the fifth or sixth take, you know there's so much fear, and I just blacked out. Then it stopped and I came to. It was crazy, I passed out," she said.

Howard spoke out recently about the gender pay gap revealing that her father, director Ron Howard, was absolutely shocked by the extent of it.

'Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom' is in cinemas now.
