Bruce Willis has joined the intriguing sounding Rian Johnson time-travel movie, Looper, where he’ll play an older version of Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Accoring to Empire, the film is about hitmen from the future, who travel back in time to execute their victims, thus erasing their crime. Pretty damn smart. It’s unclear what role Levitt/Willis would be playing, but it sounds like an intelligent, sharp production regardless.
Johnson has worked with Levitt before on the indie Brick, which was very well received. Bagging Willis, an actor very much on the jolly up looking at his recent choices, still lends some old school movie star quality to proceedings. Levitt, in my opinion, is one of the best young actors working today.
