Brad Pitt is known for his effortlessly cool performances. His upcoming film 'Bullet Train' for which Sony has just released the trailer, looks like the perfect match for the 58-year-old.

Announced back in 2017, 'Bullet Train' is based on the novel 'Maria Beetle' by Kōtarō Isaka. It stars Pitt as Ladybug, an experienced assassin who boards a bullet train and encounters several other professional killers: Prince (Joey King), Tangerine (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry) and Hornet (Zazie Beetz).

Also on the train is Kimura (Andrew Koji), a father seeking revenge after Prince put his son in a coma. The killers soon realize that their various targets are all interrelated, and their assignments quickly spiral out of control.

As well as the assassins, 'Bullet Train' features an impressive ensemble cast. Masi Oka, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Hiroyuki Sanada, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny and Sandra Bullock all feature.

Lady Gaga was originally on board to play Bullock's character, but pulled out to focus on 'House of Gucci'.

The film is directed by the acclaimed David Leitch, whose past movies include 'Deadpool 2', 'John Wick' and 'Atomic Blonde'. He's known for his stylish and stunt-driven directing style which looks to be on full display for the upcoming movie.

Leitch actually performed as Pitt's stunt double for various films including 'Troy', 'Fight Club' and 'Mr & Mrs Smith'. However, for 'Bullet Train', Leitch left most of the stunt work for the film star.

"Brad did 95 percent of his physical stunts — the fighting," said Greg Rementer, the stunt co-ordinator on the film. "He's like a natural-born athlete. He really got in there!"
