Emily Blunt and Jason Segel have joined the Jack Black starring comedy Gulliver's Travels. In the new updated version of the classic yarn, Black will play a travel writer who gets marooned on a desert island in the Bermuda Triangle that is overtaken with wee tiny folk. Blunt will play one of the aforementioned wee tiny folk, and strangely a love interest, while the hilarious Segel will be Black's best mate, leading the search for him back home. Blunt is apparently choosing this role over the part of the Black Widow in Iron Man 2, as the two shooting schedules clash. Fox have her contracted for another film under her deal for The Devil Wears Prada, and have called it in. Variety is saying there is still a chance she may be able to do both films, but it was looking unlikely last week. Monsters Vs Aliens director Rob Letterman is directing the flick, which has been co-penned by Segel's Forgetting Sarah Marshall director Nicholas Stoller
