Blake Lively is reportedly Michael Patrick King's first choice to play a young Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel.
The Australian Herald Sun are reporting that studio New Line won't take another risk on a straight up sequel, after the last film performed disappointingly at the box-office - comparative to the first. The new flick will apparently centre on Carrie in high school, which is a horrible idea. Some executive obviously just saw Easy A and a light bulb exploded over their head.
Lively has not agreed to the film yet, and is really on the ascent. I can't see her wanting to play a teenager when she's reportedly looking to finish up on Gossip Girl. She may get even bigger after The Green Lantern bows this summer as well.
