Michael Bay, he of the explosions and slow motion helicopter shots (we're not joking, see YouTube video below - Dude LOVES slow motion helicopters) is, of course, transitioning to 3-D. We're just surprised it took this long. Empire is reporting that Bay is involved in a production capacity on an adaptation of the Grimm brothers Hansel and Gretel. Will Ferrell and his Anchorman writer/director Adam McKay are said to be involved in another Hansel and Gretal project also. Bay won't be sitting in the director's chair for this one - which is largely a good thing - but no director has been assigned that task yet, so don't be too surprised if the Pearl Harbour helmer is behind the lens on this one.
