The criminally underrated Kevin Bacon has joined the cast of an untitled Steve Carell/Ryan Gosling comedy according to The Washington Post.
Carell will play a husband whose missus (Julianne Moore, cold off Shelter) threatens to divorce him. As a result he hires a polished life coach to try and help him save his marriage. The Life Coach is to played by the brilliant Gosling, while Bacon will portray a co-worker of Moore's.
John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, who just wrote and directed I Love You Phillip Morris, are calling the shots on this one. After the work they did on both 'Morris' and Bad Santa, that is by no means a bad thing.
