The trailer for Damien Chazelle's newest film 'Babylon' has dropped, revealing Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie getting crazy in 1920's Hollywood.

Set in the jazz age in Los Angeles, 'Babylon' is "a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood."

Robbie stars as a rising movie star who, by what we see in the trailer, is introduced to the excesses of Hollywood life at the time. In the trailer, her character says, "If I had money, I would only spend on things that are fun. I just want for everyone to party forever."

Pitt plays an established mega star, clearly a playboy type at the top of the Hollywood food chain.

The trailer shows off pretty much anything you can imagine. Speeding cars, drug-fuelled parties, rogue alligators, trampling elephants and Margot Robbie fighting a snake. We're so completely sold on this film already.

'Babylon' also boasts an impressive supporting cast. Included are Diego Calva, Li Jun Li, Jean Smart, Toby Maguire, Samara Weaving, Olivia Wilde, Flea and Spike Jonez.

Chazelle is famed for directing movies like 'Whiplash', 'La La Land' and '10 Cloverfield Lane'. At 32, he was the youngest person ever to win the Oscar for Best Director for 'La La Land'.

Now, without further ado, go watch the trailer.

'Babylon' arrives in cinemas on January 20, 2023.
