According to Cosmic Book News, Bryan Cranston HAS been cast as Lex Luthor in the sequel to Man of Steel, which would see him join rank opposite Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

"Cranston truly is a dream casting for Luthor," they were told by the powers that be behind one of the most discussed movies of late. Some trusty sources they must employ over at CBN.

"Bryan Cranston has been cast as Lex Luthor in what is said to be at least a six "appearance" deal (think of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury popping up in every Marvel movie in the run-up to Avengers) and may be as high as ten" says the exclusive report.

While Warner Brothers have yet to confirm whether this is true or false, CBN believe they're holding off until Breaking Bad wraps, so that they may cash in on the momentum of Cranston's star power.

Thoughts? This can be nothing but good news, right?
