Anne Hathaway has joined the cast of The Opposite of Love. The film is described as "Jerry Maguire-esk by the trades", and centres on "a commitment-phobic attorney who finds her well-constructed life coming apart at the seams when she rebuffs her ready-for-marriage boyfriend". That does not sound like Jerry Maguire at all, and also Jerry Maguire was good, and again, that does not sound good. Hathaway is making very cautious career moves after a couple of bombs. But Get Smart made decent money, and she has been getting solid early reviews for Rachel's Getting Married.
