Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have signed on to star in the fertility themed comedy, The Baster, for Blades of Glory directors Will Speck and Josh Gordon. Plot sees Bateman playing Aniston's best bud, who is concerned about the child she'd have if she goes ahead with artificial insemination and uses the semen of a stranger, so switches the sample with his own, then has to live with the secret that he is the baby's real father. Bateman is producing the film as well a starring, while Aniston is coming off one of the biggest hits in her career with Marley and Me. Sounds slightly serious for the directors of Blades of Glory, but Bateman never ceases to be funny and Aniston is proving herself a force to be reckoned with on celluloid.
