Producers are Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee and Chad Stahelski, the director behind the 'John Wick' franchise.

De Armas shot to fame for her role in 'Knives Out'. She also featured in 'War Dogs', 'Blade Runner 2049', and will star as Marilyn Monroe in the upcoming biopic 'Blonde'.

'Ballerina' is not the only spinoff of the popular franchise coming our way. Mel Gibson will star in the limited series 'The Continental' next year.
