Ever wonder where Alicia Silverstone's been hanging out?

On US non-cable TV, mostly. However, it looks the '90s teen idol could be looking at a career resurgence. Deadline reports that Silverstone has signed on to star in The Killing Of A Sacred Deer, the follow-up to 2015's indie hit The Lobster.

Joining Silverstone will be our own Colin Farrell and Barry Keoghan, as well as Nicole Kidman, in a tense thriller about a charismatic surgeon whose life falls apart when a dysfunctional teenager in his care turns sinister. Silverstone will play the mother of Barry Keoghan's character, whilst Farrell and Kidman will play the surgeon and his wife, respectively.

The film is produced by Ireland's Element Pictures, which previously produced the Oscar-winning Room, The Lobster and Gerard Barrett's Glassland. Film4, The Irish Film Board and HanWay Films are also listed as backers and the film is slated for a 2017 release.
