There's a new Irish movie release on the horizon which everyone will be talking about this October.

It appears that a range of high-profile Hollywood stars such as Alec Baldwin ('SNL'), Olivia Cooke ('Ready Player One'), and Ben Hardy ('Bohemian Rhapsody') were hiding out in the Irish countryside shooting the newest comedy movie from Paramount Pictures. And judging by the 'Pixie' trailer, they were having a right time of it over in Sligo.

Now, from what we can see and hear in the trailer below, the Irish accent may be taking a fair hammering in the upcoming comedy. But, if you can look past the questionable "OIRISH" accents at play here - especially Baldwin's gangster-looking priest - there's also a solid Irish cast to watch out for.

The main man we're excited to see pop up is Colm "Jaysis" Meaney, but there's also comedians Dylan Moran and Pat Shortt to look forward to seeing on-screen, as well as 'The Young Offenders' star Chris Walley, and 'Vikings' actor Frankie McCafferty.

The synopsis for the movie is as follows: Pixie (Olivia Cooke) wants to avenge her mother’s death by masterminding a heist, but her plans go awry and she finds herself on the run with two young men (Ben Hardy, Daryl McCormack) who are way out of their depth being chased across the Wild Irish countryside by... deadly gangster priests. She has to pit her wits against everyone, taking on the patriarchy to claim the right to shape her own life.

Here's the 'Pixie' trailer.

'Pixie' will be released in Irish cinemas on October 23.
