We were excited as anyone to see 'Avengers: Endgame' so we can kind of understand the reaction of some cinema goers in Hong Kong.
As they waited in line for one of the biggest blockbusters in years (you can read our review here), a man from a previous screening was exiting the theatre and began to shout spoilers, according to Deadline. The crowd turned and photos of him sitting on a kerb, injured and bloodied, began to circulate on social media.
Recently directors Anthony and Joe Russo have pleaded with viewers not to ruin the 'Endgame' for others.
“When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you," the pair said in a statement released by Marvel via Instagram with the hashtag #Don'tSpoilTheEndgame.
“Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga. Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help," they continued, before ominously signing off with- “Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.”
'Avengers: Endgame' is the culmination of 22 movies spanning 10 years and questions are already being asked about what the future holds for the characters and for Marvel. It's in cinemas now.
