There were a couple of movies in 2011 I really felt didn't get their dues, as generally is the case. The likes of Super and Warrior really didn’t meet the mass audience their quality deserved, while another flick, the very lovely 50/50 also went pretty much unnoticed.

That film's director, Jonathan Levine, is now in talks to direct a spy thriller with This Means War helmer McG on producing duties, reports Twitch Film. The flick is called Dead Spy Running and is based on the novel by John Stock. Plot would centre on a British spy, who while inactive due to an investigation, decides to run the London Marathon. But apart from the obvious dangers of running 26 miles without stopping (try 126 mate), he's continuously attacked by dodgy spies.

Levine has also helmed the hit indie flick, The Whackness.
