The final part of the '28' trilogy appears to be all go, as 28 Months Later has apparently been greenlit with London To Brighton and The Cottage helmer Paul Andrew Williams having been approached to direct. The scoop is coming from JoBlo.com, who are generally quite reliable with that sort of stuff; while Williams does seem like a solid choice. I really liked London To Brighton, but The Cottage was far too uneven to work as either a comedy or a horror film. Williams' has still shown the type of ability that would excel in this genre, though. 28 Weeks Later was a solid, ballsy follow up to a surprise hit, so expect a similar shock and awe, blood soaked approach this time, also. No word on a plot yet, or if any cast members will be returning, but as many will remember, the last film ended with carnage in Paris. Good times
