The rom com classic that is 'Notting Hill' is officially 20 years old.
'Notting Hill' sees Hugh Grant's bookshop owner fall for a glamorous movie star played by Julia Roberts.
Contrary to popular belief, it wasn't directed by Richard Curtis (nor was 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', by the way) but it was written by him.
Curtis also wrote the screenplay for 'Yesterday', which hits cinemas this summer and follows a struggling musician who discovers he's the only person in the world who remembers The Beatles. Thus Curtis is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Returning to 'Notting Hill' though, it undoubtedly sees Grant and Roberts in two of their most iconic roles. As characteristic of Curtis, it's full or weird, wonderful and frightfully English characters. It's still quoted and rewatched to death. But do you know all this BTS shtuff about it?
