An official trailer has arrived for 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'.

The news comes just a day after it was announced that the latest 'Spider-Man' installment will get an earlier release in cinemas across Europe.

Tom Holland returns for his third solo outing as Peter Parker.

Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, and Jacob Batalon also return to their respective MCU roles.

Plot wise, Peter Parker’s true identity has been exposed. As a result, he is no longer able to lead a normal life.

Thus he turns to Doctor Strange for help but disturbing his spell causes a split in the space-time continuum.

The most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe emerge.

So now, Peter must fight to not only save his own universe, but that of the multiverse too.

As previously announced, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina, and Jamie Foxx are reprising their bad guys roles of Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Electro from previous 'Spider-Man' movies.

While we get a glimpse of Lizard and Sandman here too, it's unclear (and unofficial) as to whether Rhys Ifans or Thomas Haden Church, who previously played the roles, are also back.

As for fan theories about Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire returning, they're very much alive.

Between the 'Loki' finale, the series 'What If...?', animated feature 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse', and upcoming sequel 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness', there's no doubt that the multiverse plays a major role in this next chapter of superhero movies.

'Spider-Man: No Way Home' swings into cinemas on 15 December.
