When the actor is not being asked questions about 'Harry Potter', he's dealing with rumours about his involvement in the MCU.

Daniel Radcliffe is a very patient man. This week he was asked about Wolverine rumours that have been hovering around the internet for an indefinite amount of time, but not before he was quizzed about playing the boy wizard for 10 years in 'Harry 'Potter'.

Currently doing the press rounds for his upcoming cinema release 'The Lost City', also starring Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, the 32-year-old appeared on the US chat show 'The View' to talk about playing a bad guy in the action/comedy.

Once again quizzed about those MCU rumours, Daniel Radcliffe was asked whether playing Wolverine was on his trajectory. Ever since Hugh Jackman hung up his trademark metal claws and brown leather jacket, fans have been suggesting that Radcliffe could make the perfect replacement (mostly because of his height and malleable hair, let's be honest).

Clearly looking flabbergasted that he's addressing this topic again, the actor managed to say: "I deny, yes.

"This is something that comes up every so often, I think because in the comics Wolverine is short, so every so often they're like, 'Who's a short actor?' There's never been any actual truth to it.

"Every so often I get bored of answering the questions sensibly, so I just make a joke like I did the other day and that sort of has reignited the rumours of it, but there's nothing going on.

"Any comparison that implies me being even remotely in the same world as Hugh Jackman is inherently flattering."

This past weekend, Radcliffe also appeared on Jimmy Fallon's late-night chat show and joked about saying for Marvel to "prove me wrong" which reignited the rumour mill once again.

Next up for the actor will be a biopic about US comedy performer 'Weird Al' Yankovic, called 'Weird: The Al Yankovic Story'. Evan Rachel Wood and Rainn Wilson also star in the film, which currently doesn't have a fixed release date.
