Right, this is a sort of Role Playing adventure game which are now, frankly, the bread and butter of the DS. Well, I am getting a little tired of Bread and Butter - gimme some bleedin' toast and jam!!

So, the gimmick here is that there's actually a degree of skill needed for the battles. Where normally your battles are a mix of using different powered heroes and a vast amount of luck, here you must tap the stylus in rhythm to maximize damage. Not the sort of game you want to be playing on the bus or the train. The different moves are not overtly difficult, but they can grate on your nerves a bit.

Having said that, I did find myself coming back to it time and again. The storyline is nothing new; a strange creature called the Zubo's under attack, you are the only one who can help… You get the drift. They keep it lighthearted and the colours are nice.

Not exactly groundbreaking but, on the handhelds these days, what is?
