VR is the big buzzword with gaming companies nowadays, what with Sony rolling out their own version for the PS4 and Microsoft expected to take a swing at it eventually for Xbox One X.

However, VR - or even AR, which is augmented reality - isn't anything new. We've had it for years and all you need to do is go back to the likes of the Nintendo Zapper for the NES and you've got AR. If you're over the age of 30, you'll remember that the Zapper was a bright orange with a twitchy trigger that could only be used for Duck Hunt, as far as we knew back then.

The Distraction Lab, a VR company based in Portland, designed an updated 2017 version of Duck Hunt for use with Oculus Rift. The game itself was designed back at the start of the year, however it's resurfaced again and it's easy to see why - it's kind of incredible and we would part with cold, hard cash to see it turned into a reality.

Take a look.
