Mr_Gibbon becomes first Irish 'Splitgate' streaming partner

Irish Twitch streamer Edwin Fitzgibbon, aka Mr_Gibbon, announced today that he is the first Irish streamer partnered with hit new game, 'Splitgate'.

Developed by a 25-person dev team at indie studio 1047 Games, 'Splitgate' is a blend of classic 'Halo' first-person shooter gameplay and cult puzzle game 'Portal', and has become hugely popular in recent weeks.

On the announcement, Mr_Gibbon said: "This isn't just the next step for me during my streaming career, but a step forward for all Irish creators thinking of making an impact within the Irish gaming industry."

The 'Splitgate' Beta is free-to-play now on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5. The full game is scheduled to launch at some stage this month.
