You don't have to look that hard to find someone tampering with a photo.

Such is the ridiculousness of modern society's onus on body dimensions, it's almost impossible to trust any of the images you process when viewing magazine, webpage, newspaper, or even a video. This rampant meddling of media has obviously caused a wide-scale disillusionment as to what many people view as a normal body shape.

Few mediums are guiltier of this than video games. While many characters may come from fictional planets, and their genesis may differ from that of a humans, the body shapes of both male and female characters often verge of lunacy, like below.

Well Bulimia.com, a charity for those suffering with eating disorders, has stood up to this, recently recreating a number of famous video game characters to portray them with some more realistic body dimensions.

On the site's blog they argue that ‘If video game creators are going to pride themselves on accurate digital representations, then it’s time for them to get real about women’.

This seems fair to us, but may we also point out that most of the lads out there, particularly a lot of us who spend our spare time playing video games, aren't 6'5 with muscles popping out of muscles.
