A cookbook based on the hit 'Witcher' series of games will release later this year.

Due for release in October, the cookbook will feature over 80 recipes inspired by the hit series.

While there is no guarantee eating the dishes will give you glowing eyes like Geralt, everything from "hearty tavern fare" to "fortifying drinks" are accounted for in the book.

The description reads "Take a culinary journey through the fantastical world of 'The Witcher' with thoughtfully imagined, flavorful recipes inspired by 'The Witcher's' expansive settings, characters, and lore.

"In this beautifully photographed cookbook, Anita Sarna and Karolina Krupecka, the creators of fan-favourite food blogs Nerds’ Kitchen and Witcher Kitchen, share their meticulously-researched, immersive recipes that give fans a taste of the distinct flavours a witcher might sample as he travels the countryside in search of monsters to slay and coin to earn."

The dishes in the book will "celebrate local and seasonal ingredients from the culinary map of the Continent," the setting for the games.

Recipes from the regions of White Orchard, Velen, Oxenfurt, Novigrad, Skellige, Toussaint, Beauclair, and Kaer Morhen will be present in the book.

The book will be released on October 25th and is available to order online now

News of a new game in the franchise was announced recently and next-gen versions of 'The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt' is due for release sometime this year.

A third season of 'The Witcher' is also confirmed to be in the works at Netflix, with the Henry Cavill starring show proving to be a smash hit for the streaming service.
