What a great idea, I mean what Wii owner (when no one is looking) has not lifted the wiimote in his/her hands and wielded it like a lightsaber, allowing their throat to mimic the icon crackle of solidified light?… Just me then?

The story follows the antics seen recently in the animated Clone Wars series. You play a host of different Jedi; Obi Wan and Anekin are in there, but no Yoda (boo!) from what I could discern.

For the kinetic console this seems like a no brainer. Lightsaber duels are pretty long overdue to be honest, but they have made a balls of it. You don't strike the cool poses that your inner child begs you to, you do not wield the power of the force dark or otherwise - you shake that damn wiimote like you do in every other damned wii game. For a console built on intuitiveness, this is a bizarre step backwards. Nintendo have time and again shown their ability to make the wiimote work beautifully and gracefully. If the control mapping for this game was not ready, they should have waited.
