Pop Cap Hits! consists of Peggle, Bejeweled 2, Astro Pop and Feeding Frenzy. All of these titles have been available on Xbox Live for a while now and this release is really ideal for those who use multiple gamer-tags on one console (i.e. families) as it saves having to buy the games more than once.
Depending on your preferences and age, Peggle is by far the best of the four games included. The premise of the physics based game involves bouncing a ball around the screen to remove pegs. Frenzy comes off as the weakest. It's a feeding game where you play a small fish who has to eat other fish to grow. The ubiquitous Bejeweled 2 revolves around matching and swapping lines of similar gems while in sort of similar Astro Pop players have to match up various coloured blocks.
Each of the four games are addictive in their own right and even though they are supposedly casual games there's as many hours of entertainment here as there would be in a triple AAA release. This is a bargain release, unless as many gamers have, you've downloaded one or more of the tittles already.
