Sony announced the four games coming to PlayStation Plus this month, with one in particular being of interest for RPG fans.

'Final Fantasy VII Remake', 'Farpoint', and 'Remnant: From The Ashes' will join PlayStation Plus from March, with 'Maquette' joining as a PS5 exclusive. However, players hoping to get their hands on 'Final Fantasy VII Remake' and get the upgrade to the PS5 for free won't have any luck.

SquareEnix confirmed that the PS Plus version will not entitle you to a free copy of 'Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade', nor will it give you access to the Yuffie episode of the game either.

'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is a top-to-bottom remake of the iconic JRPG of the same name, and sees you in control of Cloud Strife and eco-freedom fighters AVALANCHE as they attempt to take on the evil Shinra Corporation who are committed to destroying Midgard's ecology for power.

'Farpoint', meanwhile, is a VR-only first-person-shooter that sees you on an alien planet attempting to make your way across the landscape to a crashed space station. The first time an alien jumps at your face is an experience. Trust us on that one.

'Maquette' is a puzzle platformer game which sees you shaping the reality around you by moving pieces on a small-scale map that then reflects back in the larger map. It's... pretty out there, but this little video will explain it far better than we can.

And finally, 'Remnant: From The Ashes' is a third-person survival shooter that sees you battle endless varieties of interdimensional creatures in dynamically-generated environments. What's that mean, you ask? It means you get new enemies in different places all the time.
