Congratulations, you now have your Christmas present sorted for anyone who likes videogames.

This November, Nintendo is relaunching the Nintendo Entertainment System - with a twist. The venerable, thirty-year old NES will be relaunched with full HDMI support, USB controllers and thirty - 3-0 - games included in the pack.

The Mini-NES, which will be available in Ireland from November 11th, comes with a retro-style controller and will work with modern HD televisions.

There's no pricing yet available for the Mini-NES, but our guess is that it'll be somewhere between €100 and €200 - hopefully no more than €200. We've reached out to Nintendo for a specific price-point and we'll hopefully get some concrete news on that pretty shortly.
