If like me, you are hip to the groove and don't want to be no jive turkey, then regular b'ball just won't cut the mustard. Well chill, homie: NBA Street Homecourt could be the 'too cool for school' game you've been waiting for! It's actually not bad - a lot better then the twaddle they released under the title NBA '08, and it has a lot of the hallmarks of NBA JAM.

Unlike NBA '08, this has relatively nice graphics and decent enough controls, although they still haven't found a foolproof setup, in my opinion. This game is all about flair and attitude, and the focus is on style. You don't just score a bucket - you diss your opponent, do some tricks and triple-dunk an over-the-top basket.

Or if you're me, completely ignore the theme at the core of the game and do no tricks - just run down the court and dunk it! It's up to you, really!

My advice here is if you were as disappointed with '08 as I was, this should cheer you up. However, if you're looking for a decent basketball sim, this ain't it, friend.
