This is a bit of a departure for me, so let us know at entertainment.ie if you want more mobile games covered.
We all know monopoly - it is a classic board game. Highly competitive and addictive, it has the proud honor of being able to break up families and cause small localized riots. While you won't have the satisfaction of putting loved ones in the poorhouse, there is nothing too shabby about this game.
The game is based on the most recent release of the board game and so features up-to-date streets - the Luas and even Dundrum shopping centre. Controls are simply designed so it is very user friendly. From your phone's keypad and, best of all, with a little practice you can play it and pretend you are just texting someone. The AI is good, most fun during bidding wars - never think you have the upper hand!
Finally, a game worth playing on your phone! Heartened by this I will be on the look out for more mobile gems for your pleasure.
More good news: Versions are planned for all major platforms with a Wii version gearing up to reignite family fueds!
