Cert: 7+
Platform: PS3
Genre: Platform

There is something a bit wonderful about this game. Now, it's not perfect, it may be slightly over-hyped, and I don't think there is anything all that revolutionary about the game - but its execution is near-flawless.

From the delightful intro to the eloquent tones of Stephen Fry's narration, it is very difficult not to smile while playing the first few levels. Visually, the game is all about textures and materials, and truly delivers next-generation graphics, taking full advantage of the PS3's power.

Gameplay follows the basic platformer style, with puzzles and hidden objects designed to keep you replaying the levels. But this game is all about creativity, and from the offset you will be collecting stickers, objects and new clothes to dress your little 'sack man'. Online play is simple to use, and you can drop in and out of other players' games effortlessly.

If I have one gripe, it's with the player interaction - sometimes moving your sack buddy can be a bit hit-and-miss, and a little frustrating.

This is going to be a huge hit for Christmas, with something for everyone here.
